1, Warranty Coverage
Footnote Accessories Co., a brand of Futura Gear Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), warrants that our products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase ("Warranty Period"). This warranty is provided to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
2, What is Covered?
This limited warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, Footnote Accessories Co. will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. If the product cannot be repaired or replaced, financial compensation, not exceeding the original purchase price, may be provided at our discretion.
3, What is Not Covered?
This limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:
a) Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, abuse, accident, improper installation, or improper maintenance
b) Damage resulting from unauthorized modification, tampering, or alteration
c) Damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Footnote Accessories Co.
d) Normal wear and tear
e) Damage resulting from exposure to water or other liquids
4, Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.
a) Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase is required to receive warranty service.
b) Shipping: You may be responsible for shipping costs when returning the product to us. If the product is found to be defective and covered by this warranty, we will cover the shipping costs for the repaired or replaced product back to you.
c) Repair or Replacement: If a product is found to be defective within the Warranty Period, Footnote Accessories Co. will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product free of charge. Any replacement product will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
5, Limitation of Liability
Footnote Accessories Co.'s responsibility under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or financial compensation not exceeding the original purchase price of the product. Footnote Accessories Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, even if Footnote Accessories Co. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6, Governing Law
This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which the product was purchased.
